Eumundi Rotary

In June Tamara and Armelle travelled to Eumundi to share the Friends of Soibada story, and further our charities reach in Australia. Tamara, as President and Chairperson of the organisation, presented at the local Rotary Club, sharing her personal journey; from her time in 1999 in INTERFET, to her advocating for the nation's development now, in 2025. Armelle, as Youth Representative on the Board, shared her experiences in Soibada, and the work she is able to do based in Sydney. She emphasised the importance of people to people relationships, and how those relationships are just as valuable as the financial assistance we may offer in support. They were warmly welcomed by the Eumundi Rotary club, who have now signed on to support our education projects.
